Baserri is a cheese with simple flavour and distant aroma. It has a slight salty taste with a hint of nutty flavour. This cheese has a pale appearance and has a pleasant crumbly texture which tastes delightful.Have it with a green salad, fresh fruit, or french bread. Txiki, meaning "little" in Basque, a smaller version of Baserri cheese has won a silver medal at the World Cheese Awards, England in 2014
