Crumbly Lancashire is known for its fresh, slightly tangy flavor and crumbly texture. It is one of the three main varieties of Lancashire Cheese namely: Crumbly, Creamy, and Tasty. It matures faster and is fresher than the traditional Creamy and Tasty Lancashire varieties. Made from pasteurized cow's milk and matured for 6 to 8 weeks, it develops a bright color, crumbly texture, and tangy, fresh flavor. The cheese is suitable for vegetarians.
