Drovers Road
Drovers Roadis a cheddar-style cheese, named after the drovers who would drive livestock from Piedmont to Charlotte. The cheese, made from raw cow's milk, has a buttery flavor and a creamy, crumbly texture. Its yellow color comes from Jersey cow milk. This cheese is perfect for snacking and has won a bronze medal at the 2024 World Championship Cheese Contest. Old Drover Roadis an aged version of Drovers Road cheese, with a firmer texture and a more developed, sharp flavor.
