Duroblando, correctly spelled as Duro Blando is a Hispanic cheese introduced by the Spanish in the 15th century. It is mostly found in the Latin countries of South America including Mexico and the Caribbean.Duro Blando is a dry, aged cheese with a firm yet crumbly texture. It issalty and strong flavoredproviding a somewhat nice mild smoky flavor that goes perfectly with quesadillas, pupusas, salads, enchiladas, tostadas, refried beans, pasta, traditional bean dishes and baleadas. The cheese pairs well with fruits like pears, apples, crackers and nuts, ciders, and fruit beers.
