The cheese pairs well with dessert wines like sherry and port. Hornbacher earned the esteemed title of World Champion Cheese at the "World Championship Cheese Contest®" 2024, in the USA. With its creamy yet delicately crumbly texture, Hornbacher boasts a flavor akin to the skin of a baked potato, enriched with subtle notes of roasted nuts, umami, caramel, and onions.
