Mountaineer is an artisanal Alpine-style cheese made from raw cow's milk in Virginia, USA. Aged for at least six months in the European tradition, it develops a smooth, supple, melt-in-the-mouth texture with complex flavors of roasted nuts, beef broth, and caramel.
