Prima Donna

Prima Donna is a Dutch cheese from the Netherlands. It blends the creamy texture of Gouda with the nutty, crystalline characteristics of Italian Parmesan. Made from cow's milk, this slightly matured cheese features protein crystals and a sweet, nutty flavor, making it perfect for a cheeseboard. Prima Donna is characterized by "little dots" or crystals that can be seen more prominently in the extra-aged varieties Maturo and Forte. Prima Donna comes in various varieties, namely:
